Investigation into death leads to arrest

A Gallatin, Mo., man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter and distribution of a controlled substance, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Kevin Caldwell, 29, has been charged in connection with the death of Bo Eaton, a Daviess County man who overdosed on the drug oxycodone. Mr. Eaton died Feb. 3.

Patrol troopers and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department had been investigating the death.

Mr. Caldwell’s bond had not been set late Tuesday.
