In news that is either optimistic, devastating or inconsequential depending on how big a fan you are of Led Zeppelin, it was announced Thursday that there will be no plans for a Led Zeppelin reunion in any capacity.

According to musicRadar.com, Jimmy Page's manager Peter Mensch stated that Page, bassist John Paul Jones and fill-in drummer Jason Bohnam will not reunite with original lead singer Robert Plant for a tour. He also denied rumors that the group would come together to tour and record a new album with a new lead singer, who has been rumored to be everyone from former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell to Alter Bridge singer Myles Kennedy.

While Mensch said there was no chance that Zeppelin would ever come together to perform again following their 2007 reunion concert, Plant, who is currently on tour with Alison Krauss for their collaborative album "Raising Sand," said he'd be up for it in two years. I hope it happens, because all of these reunion rumors have left me dazed and confused.
