Man charged with felonies has bond revoked
A man accused of setting another man’s truck on fire is now alleged to have hired two men to break the windows of his girlfriend’s house and car.
A judge has revoked the bond for Jeremy Scott Wolf, 31, of St. Joseph, but he has not been charged with an additional crime. His original charges were domestic assault and property damage, both felonies, and he also faces a possible probation revocation.
He allegedly choked his girlfriend on Jan. 18 and set another man’s truck on fire on Jan. 28.
Lindrick L. Willis, 17, and Jeremy Mowry, 18, both of St. Joseph, are charged with felony property damage for breaking out the windows of the woman’s house and car and of two of her friends’ cars on Feb. 1 and Feb. 14. Police detectives allege that Mr. Wolf paid the two because the girlfriend had a restraining order against him, according to court documents.

Union Star official pleads guilty to drunken driving
MAYSVILLE, Mo. — The president of the Union Star board of aldermen entered a guilty plea Wednesday to a December charge of drunken driving while allegedly using a city truck.
James Heine, 40, appeared in court Wednesday with his attorney, Richard Jacoby, and entered the plea, which the court accepted.
The state court system assigned Mercer County Associate Judge Brad Funk to hear the case after DeKalb County Associate Judge Brent Elliot received an appointment to replace Circuit Judge Stephen Griffin.
Mr. Funk ordered Mr. Heine to serve two years of supervised probation, then suspended imposition of the sentence.
