The man who was killed when he was hit by a car Friday night, just north of the city limits, has been identified.
James W. Cahill, 44, was pronounced dead at Heartland Regional Medical Center. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the accident occurred on U.S. Business Highway 71, one mile north of St. Joseph.
The patrol said Mr. Cahill attempted to cross the road from east to west and walked into the path of a 2002 Honda Civic driven by Michael Coleman, 25, of Elwood, Kan., at about 6:40 p.m.
This is the fourth fatality in November and 32nd of the year for Missouri Highway Patrol Troop H. which covers Northwest Missouri.

Since News Press post this stuff on the internet, why don't they have a link to say, location,addresses,etc.? That way people reading it will have a better idea of where these things happen?
