A Hale, Mo., man was seriously injured in a one-car accident early Saturday morning on Route JJ in Livingston County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Linn O. Hoskins, 47, was ejected out the back window when his 2002 Dodge Neon ran off the road and struck a fence, the patrol said. The accident occurred about 2 a.m., as Mr. Hoskins was driving west on Route JJ, about four miles northwest of Avalon, Mo.
Mr. Hoskins, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe, Mo. On Saturday evening, a nursing supervisor there said she could give no details on his condition.
