A contract was awarded to Ideker Inc., in the amount of $1.9 million. Beginning today, work will take place on 2.2 miles of Riverside Road from south of Frederick Boulevard to south of U.S. Highway 36. The work zones may be active 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to expedite the progress on this project. Flaggers and a pilot car will direct motorists through the work zone. Drivers may expect up to 15-minute delays and may want to choose an alternate route. The completion date is Dec. 1.
