it always amazes me how the citizens of st. joe always turn on the police dept at the drop of a hat...but have no problem with doctors nurses first responders etc.. making a mistake that kills someone or does permanent damage to someone we are all only human everyone has made mistakes in thier lives but because this man was an officer some of you are accusing him of doing it on purpose that he was paid to do it this just goes to show me that i did the right thing by moving out of st. joe if the evidence was so important then dna tests should have been done on it right away what was the prosecuter waiting on this is not the job of the sjpd this is the job of the prosecuter to make sure they have a solid case so if you want someone to blame id say scroggins is your man

yes giving someone a ticket for walking in the street is kinda silly but we were not there and really don't know the circumstances and as was said people leave early for work paper routes etc...now think about this if the officer had not talked to this gentleman and he was hit by someone on there way to work at 5 am because he was walking in the middle of the street what would you be complaining about let me tell you why was the guy in the middle of the street he must of been up to no good or how about this he is a predator looking for that lone paper boy or girl then what would you be saying let me tell you where were the police why weren't they patrolling i cant believe no one saw this guy walking down the middle of the street at 5 am so the guy got a ticket did he move out of the street after the ticket maybe he should be saying wow the cop might have saved my life.

this is what happens when people hold performers on a pedistale they act and do as they please because no matter how upset everyone says they are they are still going to buy the music and it will forever continue in this way when we as regular old people stand up and say no more then the stupidity might stop but until then this is what we can expect from them i personally dont and wont listen to his music anymore or any other artist who behaves in such a fashion that our kids think its cool because there are no consequences remember in the old days if a performer didnt live up to common courtesy they were pulled now its called news

for dms2007 if you know this person is 100 percent innocent then testify to that it will only help the case if you have proof show it now because it will be to late after the conviction...if you are only saying they are innocent because you know them so well and they would never do anything like this then thats a different story everyone has known someone who would never lets say hit a child drive drunk and cause a death beat someone until they are dead take out a gun and shoot someone how many times does this happen and how many times do we see friends family and neighbors saying this person would never never do this... so like i said at the beginning if you have proof that will set them free before a conviction then use it now but if you choose not to dont cry its not fair but remember listen to the facts and the evidence if you do not have proof because you might be suprised at what you learn

how many times has a friend or a relative said i know this person they would never do that...weather or not he did it is irrelevant at this point and time he was convicted maybe his daughter should have recanted before conviction instead of after as for the registry it does in fact state if it was a boyfriend girlfriend type of offense for the teenagers that have to register but as i have said before go to the mo hwy patrol registry and type in your zip code most of the offenses are against children not adults and to say it only happened once doesn't mean it only happened once it means they only got caught once or charged for one instead of many and i will not take a chance with my kids on the say so of anyone that an offender has changed.
we had yes had a friend who had convinced us that he was falsely accused he was 25 she was 16 and got married after the conviction his wife even said it was her i looked it up on the web site awhile later because we believed him come to find out it wasn't her it was a 12 yr old girl and not his wife but she was helping him convince everyone it was i continually check the list for any updates in my area and the area i work and have no sympathy for the offenders who don't think its fair

there are alot of people out there who have had and are having terrible childhoods that do not take children into their bedrooms to have slumber parties with i cant positively say he was guilty or innocent i and everyone else only have their opinions but just because he was famous does not give him any greater worth than anyone else i listened to his music growing up i liked it but the older he got the less i liked him you don't have to idolize him to enjoy his music the person that was one of my hero's and will always be is my grandfather after a divorce he still fixed my bike took me where ever i needed to go fixed my car when i got older and after i had kids he spoiled them rotten even though we didn't live in town he ordered them children's magazines for them and when we did visit they had them they enjoyed them and he enjoyed doing it for them so for those of you who cry over a man the you have never met because you liked his music is idiotic if you want to cry for someone cry for those who taught you helped you and loved you everyday that you took for granted because one day it will be to late. he was my step grandfather but i didnt consider him that way

with respect to customer service when the customers start treating the people who wait on them with respect they will get treated with respect the old saying the customer is always right doesn't work anymore if you choose to walk into an establishment with an attitude don't get your panties in a bunch when you are treated the same way if you have a complaint go to the supervisor and calmly and politely explain the issue don't go and demand this and that if it is a problem you have every time you go into a certain establishment then stop going that fixes the problem immediately. just because you are paying for a service does not mean you can act like a butt another saying treat people the way you want to be treated and also remember everyone has bad days

i work in the sevice industry and have young and old work for me and come into my establishment. What i have noticed the most is that in my area the 30 to 60 age group are the rudest they have made emplyoyees cry because they dont know what they want and expect the person waiting on them to read thier minds also the summer time is the worst but i have figured out the problem parents are having to spend time with thier familys going on vacations small road trips whatever they are not used to spending time with thier kids or thier spouses they are on the road for a long time or what they think is a long time stop to stretch thier legs etc... but get angry quickly because they are tired and irritable because of to much family time in a cramped place so they take it out on whoever happens to be the unlucky person that happens to wait on them my point anyway how can parents teach thier kids to be respectful and courteouse when they cant stand spending long periods of time with them....just a note on young and old rudness when i was pregnant and worked in a drive thru the only people that would get out of thier cars or try to get closer so i didnt have to reach out so far where the teenagers the older people would barely hold thier money out the window

it amazes me how people will give undying devotion to a mere man yes he was a wonderful singer liked his music more the Jackson five but he was a man not a god no different than anyone else except he was very talented those who are acting like life will not go on without him need to move on he is gone let him rip.
it amazes me even more how a celebrity's life and death is regarded more valuable than a non celebrity they are human like everyone else and their death should mean no more or no less than anyone else's

it goes back to the parents i had a kid that worked for me got in a lot of trouble stealing wreckless driving etc. he was 16 he finally did a hit a run didnt hurt anyone and found out it was an elderly lady that lived down the street from him i asked him what his parents punishment was for him he said nothing.. lets just say he said he was glad i was not his parent this is what i told him i would do to him first the truck is sold the money goes to the lady he hit he then would go to her house at least twice a week to do any chores that she might need done mowing painting etc.. he would also not be allowed to drive untill he was 18.. i have told my own kids the same thing one ticket i will let slide after the second no car for 2 months third no car at all if parents dont step up and start parenting and stop trying to be the kids friends nothing will change
