PLEASE do all you can to stop sexual abuse of children. If you know someone abused--at whatever age, get them help. If you know an abuser, get them help so they will stop. Abuse will affect children their entire lifetime in awful ways. They will suffer for life--and because they will, their loved ones will too. Please do all you can--pray and take action--against this awful abuse.

I agree, but it is all about priorities! Righting the wrongs and fighting the "evil empire"....perhaps the thread will suddenly turn to Heartland!

Call you child's nurse. Ask her professional opinion about how to handle your child's fragile condition and then you make a decision for what is best for your child. Leave mine out of it. I respect your ability to make your decisions, I trust the district to make decisions that are in the best interest of all kids. End of story.

"the ones of us who express concern".....believe me, I can express my own concerns. And I think it best I speak for myself and for my children. I am not called on to speak on behalf of "all the other parents" that feel the way I do. They can speak for themselves. Believe me, there is not much you have said regarding the district that could not be construed as "stirring the pot." But, again, I am not saying anything that has not been pointed out to you a multitude of times.

Why does Dr. Smith need to do her job? She has you to count on for advice. Perhaps if you didn't provide so much advice, we would be able to judge her performance ourselves? Just a thought!

Those seeking "full disclosure" of the district's finances are entitled. Go ask! They are a public institution. Make an open records request. If you don't get what you want, ask more specifically. It is not rocket science, nor is any of the accounting practice suspect. Look at the district's audit! Enough of the negativity. Solve your own issues within the limits of the rights extended to you! It is your right, and obviously for some, their duty!

Not even a St. Joseph citizen or taxpayer, but yes, I see very just cause for calling for his resignation! Adults must lead government.......or at least responsible children!
